| Program Description: |
The Practicum program allows students in their first, second, or third year of practicum gain first-hand experience in providing mental health therapy and with conducting psychological evaluations.
The program is geared towards helping the student gain access to their population of interest, afford them the opportunity to apply theoretical practices learned in their clinical program.
Practicum clinicians do not receive payments for services rendered

| Student Commitment: |
An average of 20 hours of direct service to include clinical supervision (20%), direct clinical service (50%), documentation (20%), training and research (10%).

| Requirement: |
Must have a master’s degree in the field of psychology in pursuit of a higher degree (i.e. Psy.D. or Ph.D.) or specialty degree (psychiatric specialty).
Must have met institutions’ requirements for external practicum accordingly. |
