Services Overview
Ethics
It is the primary goal of JNG Health Network to provide everyone with services that are at the highest of ethical standards and confidentiality. We work in compliance with HIPPA, Florida Department of Health, Florida Board of Psychology, and the American Psychological Association. In doing so, all interventions are provided in the client’s language of preference to include Haitian-Creole, French, and Spanish.
Haitian-Creole
Very few psychological tools are available in Creole. We use best available translations of valid and reliable tests to assist in the evaluation and treatment of the Haitian-Creole population. Culturally sensitive and non-biased tools are used whenever possible. Key elements of the Haitian culture are factored in all of the services provided.
Spanish
We make every effort to use assessment tools normed with the Hispanic population, available in the Spanish language. Best available Spanish translations and culturally sensitive and non-biased tests are used. Mental health services are provided in the Client’s language of preference with consideration of the cultural differences and idioms among the different Hispanic groups.
