Alejandra Marquez-Mosquera earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and worked in the field of Occupational/Organizational Psychology for three years in Colombia. She then moved to Argentina, where she practiced as a psychotherapist specializing in Gestalt Therapy for four years, experiencing both personal and professional growth.

 

To continue pursuing her passion, Alejandra earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Marquez’ goal is to help clients become more self-aware, examine how their childhood experiences impact their present, and offer a non-judgmental space where they can be their authentic selves. As a bilingual Mental Health Therapist specializing in Gestalt Therapy at JNG Health Network, Alejandra is dedicated to helping others navigate their processes and learn from their own experiences.

Clinical Experience:

Ms. Marquez worked at a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center for one and a half years, where she gained experience working with clients facing conditions such as substance abuse, mental illness, homelessness, and more. She primarily worked with groups, focusing on teaching crucial life skills to help them gain independence and improve their lifestyle.

At JNG Health Network, Ms. Marquez’s primary focus is providing individual, family, couple, and group therapy in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties while building her expertise in working with children, adolescents, and adults.
