Dr. Jose Nadine Garcon
Licensed Psychologist

 
nadineDr. Garcon has been working in the mental health field since 1993. Service locations included community mental health agencies, crisis units and hospitals, residential facilities, private practice, and other community based agencies and programs. Dr. Garcon has significant experience in working with children, adolescents, and mentally ill adults. She is proficient in various evidenced based practices designed to help individuals, groups, and families master their behavioral and emotional problems. Dr. Garcon completes an average of 100 psychological evaluations per year. They include intellectual, personality, neuro-psychological, dependency, forensic, vocational, and general psychological assessments.
 
Dr. Garcon speaks Creole/French fluently and has translated many psychological tools to better serve the growing population of Creole speakers in South Florida. In addition Dr. Garcon possess great leadership skills, commitment to helping others, and high ethical standards. She loves educating others, whether in the classroom or in the clinical setting.  Dr. Garcon assists many psychology practicum students, interns, and residents become more proficient in their clinical skills.
